Overview
The Desk, the Notice Board and Agreement are three products, but they are built from one idea. Each is a template: a container shaped for a particular kind of information, with the fields that kind of information actually needs and an interaction model matched to how it is used. The template system is that idea made into architecture, and it is the part of ComeFront that decides what the platform can become.
The problem it answers is structural homogeneity. Tasks, agreements, presentations, collaborative documents and public discourse are all currently forced into identical containers — text fields, message threads, email formats. A container that fits everything fits nothing well, and the result is fragmented context, ambiguous interpretation and information nobody can manage.
So instead of one generic surface with features bolted on, ComeFront is a library of purpose-built structures plus the machinery to move information between people without losing the structure on the way. Add a new kind of communication and you add a template, not a rewrite.

The library is not fixed. Users can identify information types that lack an appropriate structure, design a template through a structured creation interface, have it validated against the system’s architectural requirements, and see it rated and adopted by the community — so the ecosystem grows without changes to the core architecture.
